VPN has become so popular and widely used tool that helps to use internet in private way by keeping info secure. To get connected with a VPN, you need to follow some steps which are as follows:-
Make the IP address of the VPN server then add your username and password. Also take care of other custom settings. After having all this details you just need internet connection and before you start VPN connection check once whether Windows 10 is logged in with administrator account or not. After completion of the checking, open settings app and once new window will come. Then you have to click to Network & Internet label. In the Network & Internet section you will find seven subsections from which you have to choose VPN. After clicking VPN, click on the Add a VPN connection label.
Next step that will be shown is to enter your VPN connection details so go for a good service provider. In the VPN provider select Windows (built- in) option and the connection name. Enter name for your VPN which you are going to create. You can put any suitable name which is genuine and easy to remember. In the server name and address column enter same to same address offered by VPN service so that it should match perfectly. Next step is change your VPN type to PPTP as is most commonly used method. In the type of Sign in info select a method that is provided by VPN service to get matched. Entering your user name and password is given as optional so it’s your choice whether to put or not. After completion of all the processes, click on ‘Remember my sign in info’ and all the processes regarding configuration get completed. Lastly click save button and the specified connection will be saved securely.
To use our new VPN connection, go back to Network & Internet screen and where you will find your newly created VPN network. If you select your new connection, it will show three options below it which contains Connect, Advanced options and remove. To use this method just tap on networking icon on main screen on below line which will take you to connect and disconnect location. This is the overall procedure which will enable you to use VPN in your Windows 10 system.
